SP APPRISED OF DAGUPAN AS REGION 1’S TOP LGU IN THE ENFORCEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF COVID-19 RESPONSE MEASURES in regular session today 05 May 2020 by Dagupan chief of Police Lt Col Abubakr Mangelen Jr and COVID-19 focal chairperson Dr Ophelia Rivera, and approving the following measures:
Resolution # 5294 – Strongly urging the lessors of business establishments in the City of Dagupan to waive or provide discounts on rental fees of their lessees covered by the ECQ period (Approved)
Resolution #5925-A – Expressing profound gratitude and appreciation to all healthcare workers, men in uniform, Barangay officials, Barangay workers and all frontliners for their contributions in the fight against COVID-19 (Approved)
Resolution #5925-B – Expressing profound gratitude and appreciation to all frontliners from essential private sector industries for their contributions in the fight against COVID-19 (Approved)
Resolution # 5926 – Expressing this body’s Appreciation and Gratitude to the Dagupan City PNP led by Lt Col Abubakr Mangelen Jr for the effective maintenance of peace and order during the ECQ in the City of Dagupan (Approved)
Resolution # 5927 – Requesting all churches of whatever denomination to open places of worship upon GCQ for thanksgiving of Dagupenos with due observance of the rule on social distancing (Deferred, directed Secretariat to transmit copy to IATF for study, consideration and approval)
Resolution # 5928 – Expressing this body’s profound gratitude to various donors to the city government of Dagupan during the ECQ period (Approved)
Resolution # 5929 – Expressing the city’s profound gratitude and appreciation to the board of directors, staff and volunteers of the Philippine Red Cross Pangasinan Chapter for their humanitarian contribution and efforts in the fight against the covid-19 pandemic
Resolution # 5930 – Expressing Full Support to the Smooth and Orderly Reception of Returning OFWs from Dagupan who underwent and completed the mandatory 14-day facility quarantine subject to the evaluation and assessment by the City Health Office that they no longer possess COVID-19 symptoms and pose a threat to the general population (Approved)
