Dagupan Ushers in Holidays with Grand ‘Liwawa Ya Pasko’ Lighting Ceremony

Dagupan City officially launched its Christmas season with the spectacular Liwawa Ya Pasko (Light of Christmas) ceremony at Nepo Mall on November 14. The festive event was organized and hosted by JDN Realty, marking the traditional start of the holidays by celebrating the “enduring light of community and heritage.” The city’s legislative body, the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP), was prominently in attendance and expressed its full support, with Vice Mayor Dean Bryan Kua and Majority Floor Leader Councilor Michael Fernandez leading the officials present. Vice Mayor Kua remarked that the ceremony symbolizes the city’s shared values of compassion, hope, and faith, encouraging the community to embrace these virtues throughout the season.
