November 12, 2025. The City Government of Dagupan, under the leadership of Mayor Belen T. Fernandez, in close coordination with the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP), the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), and national government agencies, is conducting a systematic relief operation for residents affected by Typhoon Uwan. The initiative, pictured here in Barangay Lucao, ensures the orderly and proper distribution of essential goods to heavily impacted Dagupenos, prioritizing families in the most vulnerable situations.
The relief drive is part of a city-wide effort to reach all affected communities. Operations have already extended to barangays including Bonuan Gueset, Bonuan Tondaligan, Bonuan Binloc, Herrero-Perez, Pogo Chico, Lasip Grande, Lasip Chico, Poblacion Oeste, Pugaro, Lucao, Malued, Salapingao, Barangay Dos-Tres, and Barangay Kwatro, and Mayombo. The Dagupan LGU has committed to visiting and providing necessary aid to all affected areas in the city to support recovery efforts.
