The measure was finalized after a public hearing that gathered input from key community sectors, including tricycle operators, student groups, PWDs, and business representatives.The ordinance aims to create a fair solution for both drivers and passengers. It sets a just minimum fare to ensure drivers receive a fair wage, while providing commuters with clear and standardized rates. The new system also simplifies the process for riders to report any overcharging, making public transportation more transparent and reliable for everyone.
