Dagupan City paid tribute to its elderly residents in a ceremonial distribution of cash gifts, recognizing their foundational role in the community’s development. The event saw participation from Mayor Belen T. Fernandez and received support from the Sangguniang Panlungsod under Vice Mayor BK Kua, alongside representatives from the DSWD and National Commission on Senior Citizens.
Officials emphasized that the financial aid serves as an acknowledgment of the seniors’ foundational role in the city’s development.
